I was one of the very first employees, who worked at the Devoteam Slovakia branch. I truly enjoyed working here and look back on my time with mostly positive memories.
Senior Consultant
I worked as a Senior Consultant from May 2019 until December 2021, my responsibilities were developing tools and processes for the customer based on their requirements using the ServiceNow platform. While working on projects, I was occasionally also managing a smaller group of people, that includes assignment of tasks, talking to the customer, aligning on the requirements, defining the Technical requirements and creating the Story definition for the Implementation phase. Naturally, I did a lot of implementing myself. We had to implement Foundation Data Import, moving old Tickets to ServiceNow, adapting the existing Standard processes in ServiceNow to the customers requirement, while staying OOTB where possible and we tried to use modules from ServiceNow instead of implementing them from scratch. We tried to adhere to the Best Practices from ServiceNow based on our extensive previous experiences from Customers and implementations.

- Service Catalog (Item Creation, Order Guides, Service Portal)

Lead Consultant
After being promoted to the Lead Consultant role starting January 2022, my responsibilities changed, to more being a leader on the projects, being the person who makes decisions, rather than expecting these from someone else. On some projects, I’ve been also the single person managing these. I was also working on pre-sales for new customer acquisitions, preparing the materials, analyzing the requirements and making estimations.
Most of the time, although working on customer projects, I was not only active in that area. At Devoteam, the employees were also encouraged to partake in some of the internal activities or initiatives about researching new areas or simply finding new tools to help daily activities. I was — for a very short time near the end of my Job activities — also starting to research new innovations, that could be helpful to our customers or the colleagues who work on various projects. This short time did not allow me to elevate this opportunity fully.
The Areas I worked with stayed nearly the same or overlapping with my time as a Senior Consultant.
At the end of 2022 I decided, that I needed a change and due to this reason, I have moved on from Consulting to Österreichische Post AG.
